EMILY B CRAVER
performer // teacher // choreographer

Emily Craver holds an MFA from the Ohio State University. In Spring of 2020, she was honored with a Graduate Associate Teaching Award. She is currently an Instructor for Dance at The Viterbo University Conservatory for the Performing Arts. She teaches Ballet, Tap, and Modern. At the Ohio State University, she has taught Contemporary Practice, Ballet Practice, Improvisation, Jazz II/III, Musical Theater, Tap I/II, Ballet I, and Contemporary 1. Emily graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Dance from Skidmore College.

 

In New York City, she dances with shawnbibledancecoTrainor Dance, St Fortune Productions and Designated Movement Co. Additionally, she dances with the home-based performance company CabinFever. Favorite performances include dancing at Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art, Jacob's Pillow Inside/Out Stage, The Yard, ARTSQUEST at Steel Stacks and Joe's Pub DanceNow Festival. She has worked with Sum Bones Co, RG Dance Projects, Beth Soll and Company,  The Paper Industry, TrioDance Collective, and Adanzavecvos, in addition to being a board member for NACHMO.

 

Emily's performance group, THE LITTLE STREAMS has been produced at Triskelion Arts three years in a row: Tandem Bike for One, Please; Real World: Supernova; Ladies in the Water. THE LITTLE STREAMS  has performed at WestFest's All Over Westbeth, The PIT, The PIT Underground, The Comedy in Dance Festival, Built on Stilts, Dancewave's Works in Progress, East Flatbush Dance Festival, The Legion Bar, and has produced three shows at Muchmore's. 

Emily has taught Modern and Jazz at The School of Dance at Peridance and has been a guest artist/teacher at Winona State University, Colgate Unviersity, Barnard College, Skidmore College, and Manhattanville. 

 

Additionally, she loves frolicking in the world of theater and has choreographed for college,, youth and Community Theaters such as Viterbo University, Framingham High School, Weston Drama Workshop, Stoneham Theatre young company, Wayland High School, and Wellesley Players.
